Uplift Capital Group partners' Steven Kowalski and Mark Horton met while working with a mutual client over 10 years ago. Both were engaged in real estate investing and development. At the same time, the two were working independently with developers to assist them in procuring capital to move their projects forward.
Traditional loans such as those offered by banks would most often be rejected or came with impossibly high interest rates that encumbered the project more than it was worth. Believing in the old adage that "two heads are better than one", they formed Uplift Capital Group to focus on project funding in the U.S. and internationally.
Together they bring a creative and analytical approach to the complex business of capital project funding.
